Recently, Jen Hill from CDK Architects teamed up with Jessie Pascarelli and Michael Endres of Nelsen Partners, Inc. to design a tiny house for the Tiny Victories Design Competition, a collaboration between AIA Austin and Mobile Loaves & Fishes. The winning homes will be built at the Community First! Village, a 27 acre master-planned community that will provide affordable, sustainable housing and a supportive community for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas.
Our home, Hearthside House, was one of the top 11 semifinalists! The 4 winners and 11 semifinalists will be featured in an exhibition at the Austin Foundation for Architecture‘s Form:Function event on February 26th. They will also be exhibited at a Luncheon Speaker Series featuring Mobile Loaves & Fishes’ CEO Alan Graham on February 17th and then will be in the Gallery at the Austin Center for Architecture.
