We took an existing Tarrytown home built in 1910, remodeled the first floor and added a small first floor addition, and then added a new second story. Main goals were to add square footage to the house while maintaining the visual charm of the existing home. We also wanted to improve the master suite and open up the master to the back yard. Our clients also wanted a kids’ playroom that was semi-contained but not entirely closed off from the rest of the house.

We added windows where we could to bring in natural light, and re-organized the first floor to improve flow.
